I have no problem importing this STEP file either from File --> Import or Part --> Import CAD menu. See attached FCStd file. OS: Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS Platform: 64-bit Version: 0.13.1830 (Git) Branch: releases/FreeCAD-0-13 Hash: ec7636d7aaf2612e9b43cff5d6a424037d53e505 Python version: 2.7.3 Qt version: 4.8.1 Coin version: 3.1.3 SoQt version: 1.5.0 OCC version: 6.5.0 |

The attached files can now be imported (there are "+" sign between the filename words). Ït seems that the filename causes the problem(DOS??). When I rename the files there is no problem anymore. When I open the original file Freecad "says" "Reading STEP file" and the progress bar stays on 100% and the program is no longer responding. |

I can't confirm this behaviour. Feel free to reopen if it still doesn't work. |
