Summary0001214: Database error when accessing http://www.freecadweb.org/wiki under Linux
DescriptionI have tried to access http://www.freecadweb.org/wiki using:
Firefox 23, Mozilla Firefox for Ubuntu canonical-1.0
rekonq 2.3.2, Using KDE Development Platform 4.10.5, and
Chromium Version 28.0.1500.71, Ubuntu 12.04 (28.0.1500.71-0ubuntu1.12.04.1). Under all three browsers I get two different error message.

The first one you go through the "Help" menu then "Online Help" and then to "Help Website". Clicking on "http://www.freecadweb.org/wiki" the following message comes up: "A database error has occurred. Did you forget to run maintenance/update.php after upgrading? See: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Upgrading#Run_the_update_script Query: SELECT lc_value FROM `wiki_l10n_cache` WHERE lc_lang = 'en' AND lc_key = 'preload' LIMIT 1
Function: LCStore_DB::get Error: 1226 User '20100829001-1' has exceeded the 'max_questions' resource (current value: 20) (mysql.knallhart.de)"

The second comes up when you go through the "Help" menu then "Online Help" and then to "FreeCAD Website". Clicking on "http://www.freecadweb.org/wiki" the following message comes up:: "<databaseerror>"

Basically, under Linux it appears that getting to the new wiki pages are being blocked.

I am using FreeCad 0.14, although this has happened on 0.13. I am running Kubuntu 12.04.02. I have not seen this problem at my work where I am running Windows XP and Windows 7 and using FreeCAD 0.13.

I was able to report this in the form so I reported it here. I hope this information helps.

The wiki is down, this is an issue with the wiki, not the FreeCAD program.

The SQL server appears to be having issues, or the SQL values were lost somehow.
Thus the "<databaseerror><dberrortext>"

To clarify, this is a website issue ( http://www.freecadweb.org/wiki ), not an issue with the FreeCAD program itself, this also appears to happen on every OS, once again making it an issue with the site itself..

My suggestion would be fixing the SQL database, it got corrupted it seems.

The wiki is currently moving to another server and for the time being the current url is http://freecadweb.wired-net.de/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

Thank-you for providing the additional information. I am new to FreeCad and knew this really wasn't a FreeCad problem, but I want to learn how to use it. So I thought it was important to report that there was a issue getting to the online help. Thanks again for the links!
