| Description | When attempting to upgrade a Cross-Sections slice of a Cylinder, Cone, Sphere, Torus, and other rounded shapes to a face. Application of the upgrade tool in the Draft Workbench brings on an abort/crash. This happens 100% of the time *** Abort *** an exception was raised, but no catch was found. ... The exception is:SIGSEGV 'segmentation violation' detected. | Steps To Reproduce | Open Part Workbench. Create a Cylinder. Select Cylinder and invoke Cross-sections tool. Leave Defaults and click OK. Open Draft Workbench. Select Cylinder_cs and invoke Upgrade tool. Crash / Abort | ||||
| Additional Information | This does not happen with squared corner parts constructed from sketches or the Solid Box from the Part Workbench. Seems to be limited to Cross-scetions taken from rounded shapes. | ||||

It doesn't crash for me with any of these combinations... But I'm with OCC 6.6 (OCE13), it might be a problem that they solved... Let's see if anyone else is experiencing a crash there. |

You are correct yorik, I just compiled the latest OEC and FreeCAD and all is well now. No more crashing. So it does seem that the problem was with the 0.12 OEC.
