| Summary | 0001613: STEP export errors | ||||
| Description | Export this part as a STEP file. Alibre can not read it. Acrobat 3D imports a solid cylinder, without the fillets, chamfers, or pockets. The sketch for the pocket imports, but without the extruded cut. | ||||
| Additional Information | The circular fillet seems to be the first feature that is not imported by other programs. | ||||

Please discuss such problems on the forum first to confirm if it is really a bug rather than lack of knowledge of FreeCAD. When opening your file, there are two features visible: Pocket and Chamfer002. They are both different steps in the creation of the same part and only the last one should be visible. If you select more than one feature, you're exporting overlapping shapes, thus you create an invalid STEP file. I just exported Chamfer002 as STEP and it opens perfectly fine in Solid Edge ST2. |
