| Summary | 0002136: Part Design - Add ability to define axis to Grove and Revolve tools. | ||||
| Description | It would be great to have a way to select an axis (reference) for the Grove and Revolve tools like we can for the Transformation tools. This would be a big help and avoid having to use Part tools like Sweep and Boolean operations to get the desired results. | ||||
| Additional Information | In the attached example, I would like to be able to use the Grove tool to make a 90* grove withe Sketch004 to continue the cove around the edge of the part. Certainly the Grove can be done with a Sweep and Boolean difference, but that works to defeat the purpose of the Part Design Module.
