| Description | Path Workbench FC Version 0.17.7731 (Git) The selection of geometry for drilling seems to be a bit too limited. It works fine with circular faces and points, but does not appear to work with an array of faces or points. I can easily select one point out of an array for many other types of operations, but the drilling dialog always says the selection from an array of objects is not valid. Since drilling is often performed in a multitude of locations the expansion of selectability to arrayed objects is highly desirable. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Create circular faces, holes, or vertices on a solid in Part Design Workbench. Switch to Path Workbench and select Drilling operation. Selection of simple target objects works fine, and proper G-code can be generated. However, if the same legal target objects are first arrayed before switching to the Path Workbench then the selection of those target objects is not allowed. I tried various boolean operations and clone operations, but I could not make any of those work correctly with the subsequent Path Drilling operation. | ||||

Also need to add circular edge selection. |

Edge selection has been added with PR 0000336. Also will detect similar shapes and prompt to drill them. GeneFC, please review current functionality and comment if this issue is now resolved. Thanks. |
