Summary0002719: can't contrainst to another object
Descriptionin the attached file, I want to constrain "bois brut001" or "bois brut002" on "pocket"
I don't want to "apply a sketch on a face" since it will produce 1 single object, I just want to use some point position of "pocket" to set the position of my sketch... there is no "infinite recursion since they are 2 different objects.... I can't create an edge linked to a geometry because of some "selection not allowed by filter"
it's just really, really annoying and made me upset, what the point of beeing able to design individual parts if we can't use a part property to constraint another??????
Steps To Reproduceenter part design, open "bois brut002", try to create an edge linked to "pocket"

This is not a valid bug report.

This is clearly a help request, it's a question about FreeCAD usage. It is not possible to use external linked geometry between sketches in 0.16. The forum is the place to ask for help.

Next time please read the Bug reporting guidelines. http://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5236

This is not a bug. User should have posted in the forum since the issue is a misunderstanding of the software.
