Internally, units are always stored in FreeCAD default units. That's mm for length and seconds for time. However, the user can select the metric, small parts, & CNC unit schema (preferences, Units, Unit system) and all operations will switch to user mm/min for velocity input. Post processors will output velocity as mm/min and most posts allow --inches to get in/min if desired. |
