making an edge pocket path on a circle with a tool equal to that of the circle fails to produce a path.

eg 6mm end mill:
3mm rad hole: no path
3.001mm : no path
3.01 : path with very small arc cut.
Steps To Reproducemake sketch with 3mm rad hole
pad
create edge pocket path using 6mm tool

result : no path to hole, no hole.

Increase hole size until path tool works.

This is normal behavior. Profiling as an operation follows the wall with the cutter. If the hole has the same diameter as the cutter, there's no horizontal distance to follow, it's purely a vertical move which should be done with a drilling operation.
