Should we really move things out of Sourceforge? |

My intention is not to move things out of Sourceforge - my intention is to show how the the moved/converted repository will look. If you would provide the requested information I could recreate and finally it should simply be uploaded/moved to Sourceforge ... git clone git://github.com/jobermayr/free-cad.git cd free-cad git push --mirror ssh://$username@free-cad.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/free-cad/free-cad !!! Hu-man I think isn't active anymore in the project... the sourceforge emails should work, probably a temporary failure of sourceforge. Why don't you try sending them a private message via the forum? |

FreeCAD@juergen-riegel.net Its a good idea to have a playground on github! But I plan surly to go the sf.net with the repo, cause of all the other services. We can use always the same login credentials. |

Because some developers do not provide any information or at least one is unwilling to provide his real name (-> logari81 on IRC) I decided to discard my proposal for (help on) doing the conversion (Git repository on github was deleted). For example on git.kde.org runs a Git hook which proves authors/committers are structured: $forename $surname <$email_address_with_reachable_domain>. If this structure is not available the "git push" action will be refused. Also hu_man and Hu_man should be converted and not be ignored. Btw. just doing the conversion via git-svn will not provide a Git repository with the quality mine had (-> svn2git). |
