Summary | 0000513: Arch -module - Auto-cell
Description | In other BIM apps, when you create a wall, it automatically "joins" to existing walls. Currently, in the arch module, this is done manually by grouping walls into cells. Walls (and other types of objects) could easily be automatically added in a cell upon creation. That cell could be determined for example by the following criteria: - If no cell exists after creating a wall or struct, add a new one - Or, if we snapped to an existing wall or struct at some moment of the creation, add to the same cell - Or, if we drew a wall or struct on an axes system, add to the same cell as other structs on the same level

Done in commit 062dc9d When drawing a wall, if snapping to an existing wall, both walls (new one and existing walls) will be grouped following this rule: - if both walls have same height and width, both walls become one, and their baselines get added to a same sketch - if not, the new wall is added as an Addition to the existing wall |
