Summary | 0000791: Placement dialog leaves unapplied changes
Description | If you use the placement dialog to move an object and then click off the object without hitting 'apply' or 'ok' the object will be left in place on the screen as though the user applied the change. The false change will remain in effect until the document is saved and reopened, then the object will revert to its previous location/rotation. Steps to reproduce: 1 start a new document and add two cubes at the same location. 2 Open placement dialog and move one of the cubes so that they are side by side but do not hit 'apply' 3 click off the object. 4 hit apply. 5 save and close the document 6 reopen and the object will have reverted.
Additional Information | This is a really easy mistake to make when using the placement dialog. Once the object is in place, clicking off of it should either (in order of preference): 1 Apply the change automatically. 2 Warn the user that they have unapplied changes 3 Automatically revert to previous location.
