| Summary | 0000929: Using External Entities in Sketcher creates false pad / pocket | ||||
| Description | If you create a fully closed shape inside Sketcher using external entities, these create incorrect pad / pocket with tearing - the result extrusion shape is incorrect. I don't think these are included when creating the complete wire that is used in the sketch - maybe because the sketcher indexes for these edges are less than zero. I cannot confirm if this happen every time, but I noticed this today. I think this really should be fixed before the 0.13 release if it can be confirmed by other users. - 0.13 -dev Windows | ||||

could you provide an example file? |

External geometry won't show up in a sketch. Its only a helper for external references and no actual geometry... |
That's fine - but it should be made clear in the documentation. Although if that is true, the pad operation should have detected an open wire... |

Yes, but detecting all kinds of erroneous shape forms is a quest on its own :) |
