| Summary | 0001396: Allow User to Scroll Solver Window While Conflicting Constraint Error Message is Active | ||||
| Description | While the Conflicting Constraints error message ("Cannot set the datum because the sketch contains conflicting constraints") is active, solver shows a list of conflicting constraints in red. When the user clicks OK in the error message window, the solver message changes to orange and says something like: "...Please remove the following redundant constraint: N" where N is usually the number of the most recently added constraint. However, sometimes the most recently added constraint (the one that threw the error) is the one I want to keep and it would be better to delete a different conflicting constraint. So I'm asking that the user be able to scroll the Tasks window, and also the constraints sub-window, to see these other constraints while they are listed at the top of the solver window in red. Maybe clicking on the left window could make the normal FreeCAD window active while the error message remains in front but is inactive until the user clicks OK to close it.
