| Summary | 0002032: When saved and loaded, window positions get multiplied | ||||
| Description | Perhaps I'm creating windows the wrong way, but when I create windows on walls, save the model, and reload from the project file, the coordinates of the window position appear to get multiplied. In the attached image, the far-left corner is the origin or the cartesian coordinates. Notice that the windows are right next to the y-axis, just like wall they should be on, but the windows that should be on walls further from the axis, are much further from the axis than the walls. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Create a wall 2. Select wall, then select window tool 3. Select a 2-pane sliding window, enter a width and height, then click on the approximate location of the window on the wall 4. Select the sketch nested inside the window and enter the correct x, y and z coordinates 5. Save the project, and reopen it from the file 6. Observe that window location is wrong 7. Select the window object, and set it's x, y and z coordinates to 0 8. Observe that window location is now correct 9. Repeat 5 - 8 | ||||

Just to clarify, the screenshot on the left is how my model looks after original creation of the windows in step 4, or after fixing the model in step 7. After saving the model and reloading it from a file, it looks like the screenshot on the right. |
|
|
I should also note that if I do not fix the windows, but save the model while the position is wrong, the subtractions in the walls disappear on the next reload, and the windows appear even further away. |

This is fixed in 0.15 already. |
