| Summary | 0002522: part design fillet and chamfer tool will not reproduce same edge# or face# | ||||
| Description | Bug appears upon reload of part or regeneration of part due to deleting chamfers or fillets in the model on subsequent chamfers or fillets down the feature list. The identity of each edge or face seems to be determined uniquely upon regeneration of model. By removing features earlier in the model list the edge# or face# identity seems to become renumbered, thereby causing the associated fillet or chamfer to attach to other edges or faces than originally selected. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Take a given model with about a dozen features: a pad, cylinders boolean subtractions for holes, fillets, chamfers Then remove some features, save part, close part, reload part. Frequently upon reloading the features reassign to the edge# or face# with the same number, but whose identity is different from the original model (a different edge or face). | ||||

I cannot reproduce this bug. Can you please provide step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce, and provide a sample file? |

Your FreeCAD version is obsolete. 0.16.670x was released in April of this year. Therefore bugs should be reported for the current stable version, not 0.15. In any case this sounds like the topology naming problem. 0000922 |
