| Description | The program FreeCAD background color of the tooltip (light blue), and the font color (pale gray) merge with each other, which makes difficult to read tips. In other programs, and in general in the interface of the system, the tips color black and white , this combination is perfect. I tried to change the tips color through settings ThemeConfiguration and through ".gtkrc-2.0", color changing system, and FreeCAD - no. | ||||

Do you have activated a Qt style sheet in FreeCAD? Go to Edit > Preferences > General and check if a style sheet is selected. If no one is selected FreeCAD should follow system settings. |

Yes, when I change "style sheet" the tooltips become readable, but not with system settings. And colors in "style sheet" is not pleasant. The same problem appear in skype. |

@nesergen please post your Help > About FreeCAD > Copy to clipboard also post a little more specs about your system? Especially Window Manager related stats. |

The important part is this: > The same problem appear in skype. So, it's clearly caused by system settings and why should we do something on this? The user should search through system settings and change the color. |
