| Description | Using various pocketing techniques, this method of incrementally making one pocket at each sketch session produces the following. On the seventh pocket making operation, the pocket did not get produced. An error message was not displayed. See attached design file. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Make a sketch and produce a pad. Make another sketch and make a pocket. Edit the sketch over and over again making one pocket each time. At the seventh pocket, it fails. | ||||

I don't think this is really the correct way of doing it. Make one sketch for the pad. Then make a sketch for the pockets. I copied your sketch and deleted everything but the outer circle in one for the pad, and in the second sketch, I deleted the outer and inner circle; two of the circles were dependent on the inner circle for their positions (they shouldn't be and don't need to be; use an expression) so I just added a "height from X" constraint to fix them in place. I think the key thing is: don't use one sketch for multiple operations. I don't think this bug is valid. |
