| Description | When I try to open a DWG file, it fails because importDwg.py have some problem on line 32. I already install DWG support (teigha_file_converter) | ||||

in 0.17 , looks like it is half working, but I can't see anything |

Please Always post your full FreeCAD versions you've tested on. Especially 0.17 since it intensely developed and recently had some updates to DWG. |

@Ihateusername, can you upload the file you were trying to import? I don't have any .dwg files to test at the moment. Does it happen with every .dwg, or only specific files? |

There can be many reasons why dwg import fails, if there is a message error appearing, please paste it here entirely (open View -> Panels -> Report view to get the whole message) also as peterl94 suggests there can be problems inside the dwg file (please upload so we can have a look), also try to avoid file paths with non-ASCII (accented, etc) characters, as teigha seems to not swallow them right... |
