| Summary | 0003517: STL/Mesh export options only visible after first mesh import | ||||
| Description | The "Mesh Formats" options in the Preferences->Import-export pane only becomes visible after opening a mesh format, such as STL. If one wants to tune the maximum mesh deviation parameter to export a mesh, he first has to import an stl just to enable the preference pane. Quite annoying. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | - Create a new document - Go to Edit->Preferences->Import-export. No "Mesh Formats" pane is visible. - Open any STL file - Go to Edit->Preferences->Import-export. "Mesh Formats" is now visible. | ||||

The current workaround for this is to switch to Mesh Workbench beforehand. Then the Preferences pane will show the Mesh Workbench in it. |
