Please change the expression "Discard" button to instead read "Clear". Add a tooltip on "Clear" to read "Clear the expression" => "Revert to last calculated value (as constant)".

Optionally, and only if the screen real-estate allows, add an additional "Cancel" button that does the same thing as typing the Escape key.

Alternative names can be chosen:
"Clear/Delete"
"Clear/Delete expression".

The reason why I chose "Clear" as it was shorter and I was concerned about screen real-state.
