Summary | 0004274: FreeCAD zooms the viewport automatically Out making the interface unusable.
Description | If I do begun to zoom out into the 3D viewport using the scroll wheel of my Logitech MX Anywhere 2, after stopping the zoom action, FreeCAD continues to zoom out until the geometry it is so small that it is out of sight, making the interface unusable. If I do zoom IN, sometimes FreeCAD after finishing the zoom-in process also it is beginning to zoom-out. This issue it is not happening if I do use the Trackpad device to zoom-in or out. Also didn't happened before using the 0.18 builds of FreeCAD.
Steps To Reproduce | Begin of the zoom-out action using the scroll wheel of the mouse. Stopping the movement of the scroll-wheel it is supposing to also stop the zoom-out process but this it is not happening, instead FreeCAD 0.19 continues to zoom-out until the object disappears from the line of sight.

@Dacicusan please follow the instructions at the top of this page. We discuss such things in the forum before openings a ticket. There are several mouse models to choose from (see https://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/Mouse_Model) and we need to know more about your issues. Bugtracker is not the place to conduct a conversation. The forum is. Please therefore, open a forum thread and link to this ticket (and link this ticket to said forum) so we can track the conversation. |

@chrisb have you seen any other reports about this on the forum? I know there is a known issue regarding infinite spinning UI. But not infinite zoom out. |
|
@Dacicusan does this error persist in recent development builds? If so, please start a forums discussion for it. I'm marking this as #tobeclosed for the time being. |
