DescriptionI have two screen attached to my iMac: the built-in Retina display and a normal resolution screen. The Retina display is the main screen. FreeCAD is "started from the normal screen", e.g. FreeCAD's initial window appears on the normal resolution screen (the startup sequence can be seen on the Retina display).
The output is like the attached screenshot.
Additional InformationIf FreeCAD is started from the Retina display the icon visualisation is OK.

@Hardy as per the large banner at the top of the page, we're getting ready to release v0.18. Would you please test this on the 0.18dev https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/releases/tag/0.18_pre ?

the problem is not solved. But the starting behaviour has changed.

A couple of different scenarios
a) main display is the retina display
When FreeCAD is started, no matter whether you start from the normal or Retina display, the initial windows opens on the main display (in version 0.17 this was not the case).
Moving the window from the Retina display to the normal display shows the too large icons again.

b) main display is the normal display
FreeCAD opens its first window always on the normal display. The icons are too large (astonishing but happens; though I did not reboot the computer) on the normal display but not on the Retina display.

PS: "Main display" is the display where initially (after computer startup) the menu bar is located.

There may be a problem since the build you're using is still python2.

Behaviour is ok, icons appear in the right size, starting always on main screen is MacOS default behaviour.
